Liaqat grew up in Faisalabad, Pakistan. His mother washed dishes in other people's homes; his father was a security guard who stood 12 hours a day to put food on the table. At 9, with just 10 rupees, Liaqat set up a tiny candy stall — acting like a CEO with 5 toffees and 2 chips packets. That hunger to build never left.
YouTube changes everything.
Working odd jobs — cleaning windows, washing dishes at restaurants, waiting tables at hotels — Liaqat discovered YouTube in 2012. He started making videos with a cheap phone. No camera, no lights, no audience. Two straight years with zero views, zero money. He kept going because he believed in himself.
Google sends the first cheque.
Then an email arrived from Google. Real money. His father — skeptical at first — walked him to Western Union to collect it. For 7 days after, his dad kept asking: "Where is this money from? Are you doing anything bad?" That day changed everything. The internet was real, and it worked.
